Hello! My name is Carson.
I believe in a person-centred relational approach. More than anything, I enjoy learning about people and their stories. I want to make sure that you are feeling supported and cared for. I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. To me, what that means is that together we look at your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, how they interact, and then find new approaches. I want to find and use the approach that works best for you. I want to provide the space for you to feel seen, heard, but most importantly, empowered. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, life transitions, and trauma.
I’m currently welcoming new clients.
Carson offers virtual and in-person counselling sessions on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.
