Accessing support shouldn’t feel complicated.
What is NIHB?
Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) is a program that provides coverage for eligible First Nations and Inuit individuals.
Mental health services may be covered when accessed through an approved practitioner.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible, your band office or NIHB regional office can help confirm your status.
Our Commitment
Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation. It moves through families, communities, and generations. Sometimes quietly, sometimes in waves.
For many Indigenous clients, experiences of loss, displacement, and systemic harm have created ripples that continue to shape how stress, grief, and trauma are carried today. We approach this work with humility and an understanding that healing is not about “fixing” individuals, but about supporting people within the broader contexts that shaped them.
As a Métis-owned practice, we are committed to offering care that feels steady and respectful. A place where clients don’t need to explain everything from the beginning and where their lived experience is understood within its full context.
We believe connecting to care should feel natural and safe, not clinical or intimidating.
